    Can You Play Mortal Kombat 1 Early?

    Yes, you can play Mortal Kombat 1 before its official release date. This is thanks to the Premium Edition. NetherRealm opted to allow people to play five days early if they paid for the more expensive version of the game. 

    The game will launch on September 19 worldwide. For those who opt for early access, you will be able to play the game starting on September 14.

    Those opting for a physical copy are in luck, too, as there is a physical version of the Premium Edition you can purchase. So, no matter how you choose to buy your games, you have options to play early. 

    How to Play Mortal Kombat 1 Early

    We’ve got you covered with a step-by-step guide on unlocking early access in Mortal Kombat 1. So, to play Mortal Kombat 1 early, follow the below steps:

    1. Head to either your digital storefront of choice or to your favorite retailer’s website.
    2. Navigate to the Mortal Kombat 1 page. You can do this by searching for the game.
    3. Select either the Premium Edition or Collector’s Edition. Both of these copies include early access.
    4. Purchase! 

    You can unlock the game early Thursday by purchasing a digital copy. Physical copies can be picked up starting the very same day.
