Spike Chunsoft announced Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE sales topped 300,000 units on Nintendo Switch. The sales update comes just a week after the release of the game’s first DLC pack, Ch. Desuhiko: Charisma Killed the Cat.

Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE released on June 30 as the next major game by Danganronpa creator Kazutaka Kodaka. After waking up in a daze without his memories, protagonist Yuma Kokohead heads into Kanai Ward to begin his work as a detective to find a lead about his past. The game’s story quickly takes some twists and turns, and thousands of players came along for the ride.

Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE Surpasses 300,000 Copies Sold

Over 300,000 copies of Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE have been sold worldwide according to Spike Chunsoft. The new Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE sales update includes physical shipments and digital copies sold for Nintendo Switch. Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE managed to reach this sales milestone in a little over a month’s time. 

Later this month, the second DLC for Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE will let players control Fubuki Clockford, a Master Detective with time-altering powers. “Ch. Fubuki: Fubuki’s Luckiest Day” launches on August 31 for $5. The DLC’s file size is roughly 500 MB, and two more DLC packs will release in September and October respectively. Players may save $4 on all four DLC packs by purchasing the Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE Season Pass for $16.

Fans may also look forward to new Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE figures by Good Smile Company. Yuma and Shinigami POP UP PARADE figures are up for pre-order now, and a new Shinigami Nendoroid is currently in the works.
