    Genshin Impact Version 4.0 Special Program Announced for August 4

    HoYoverse announced the long-awaited Genshin Impact Version 4.0 Special Program will premiere on August 4. The livestream will include new details about the upcoming 4.0 update and the new Fontaine region.

    Nearly a year has passed since HoYoverse released the Genshin Impact Version 3.0 update featuring the Sumeru region. Players have explored every corner of Sumeru, and HoYoverse is prepared to reveal what’s in store in Fontaine.

    Genshin Impact Version 4.0 Special Program Livestream

    The Genshin Impact Version 4.0 Special Program will premiere on August 4 at 07:30 a.m. (UTC-4). This livestreamed event will detail the Fontaine region, new characters, new in-game events, and so much more coming in Version 4.0. Additionally, several redemption codes will be released with rewards like Primogems and Mora. Fans may tune into the livestream on the official Genshin Impact Twitch channel. One hour later at 8:30 a.m. (UTC-4), the Genshin Impact Version 4.0 Special Program will premiere on the game’s official YouTube channel.

    • Mountain Daylight Time (MDT): 5:30 a.m. MDT
    • Central Daylight Time (CDT): 6:30 a.m. CDT

    After the special program is over, HoYoverse will head to Gamescom 2023 later this month with an official booth and “a full range of exhilarating activities.” At Gamescom 2023, Genshin Impact fans may visit “A Journey Through the Elements” display at the booth where five of the seven nations are highlighted. Fans may celebrate the world of Tevyat through various stage shows, musical performances, and competitions. Further, Honkai: Star Rail, Zenless Zone Zero, and Honkai Impact 3rd will also be showcased at the annual event.

    Lastly, Genshin Impact is available now for Android, iOS, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Windows and Epic Games Store. A Nintendo Switch version is currently in development, but a release date has not been announced yet.
