The Vantage Masters mini-game returns in The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie with even more cards to collect and opponents to defeat. Although Zemuria is dragged into another crisis, heroes may enjoy some more leisure time in Chapter 1. Rean Schwarzer and Lloyd Bannings enter the mysterious True Reverie Corridor and make some noteworthy discoveries that could aid them in their journey.
Unlike Vantage Masters in The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV, the card game is played outside of the real world in True Reverie Corridor. As players progress the main story and complete floors of the True Reverie Corridor, more characters will show their interest in Vantage Masters. Once a character is available to challenge in Vantage Masters, the VM logo will be present on the mini-map. Players simply need to talk to the character for a short conversation, and the protagonist may issue a challenge by pressing the right trigger button (i.e. ZR button on Nintendo Switch).
Note: The opponents list has minor spoilers for characters that may be unlocked after completing the main story.

Post-Game Vantage Masters Bonus
Finally, the ultimate Vantage Masters challenge will present itself in Forging Vantage Masters Dojo, an additional mini-game that may be unlocked in the post-game section of The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie. VM Dojo offers the most challenging opponents yet, and players who conquer these duels gain additional Master cards. More VM Dojo opponents may be purchasing “Add VM Dojo Opponents” bundles at the Phantasmal Shards shop.
