Each of the three modes from Street Fighter 6 have a unique theme to their music, but also share a cohesiveness that complements each other. Fighting Ground with its underground, street feel; Battle Hub with its jazz-based arrangements; and World Tour with its urban sounds utilizing brass and vocal samples.

The Success of Street Fighter 6

Street Fighter 6 has reached over one million copies sold, along with more than one million players checking out the game. An upcoming collaboration with Capcom’s Exoprimal is planned, with more details set to come after it launches on July 14. The collab is currently scheduled for release in Fall 2023.

Players may look forward to extensive post-launch support, including updates and DLC characters. Rashid from Street Fighter V returns in Summer 2023, and newcomer A.K.I. arrives in Fall 2023. ED and Akuma return in Street Fighter 6 in Winter 2024 and Spring 2024, respectively. Moreover, all four DLC characters will be Masters in World Tour mode, allowing original characters to learn their moves.

Beyond Year 1, there are plenty of names to think about regarding upcoming DLC fighters. If Street Fighter V is anything to go by, we’ll at the very least be getting four to five years of DLC support bare minimum.

Street Fighter 6 is available now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
