ATLUS have confirmed that Persona 3 Reload is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. These versions will release day-and-date with the previously announced Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows versions of the new Persona 3 remake. Moreover, the official English website for the remake is now live.
Persona 3 Reload is a remake of the original Persona 3 game with HD graphics, quality of life improvements, and stylish menus that are reminiscent of Persona 5 / Persona 5 Royal. In addition, Persona 3 Reload will feature a revamped battle system, improved social links, and an all-new English voice-over. The game was initially revealed at Xbox Games Showcase on June 11, and more details will be revealed with each official full moon date leading up to launch (in real-time).
“Now through launch, please visit the Persona 3 Reload website persona.atlus.com/p3r for news announcements and the ATLUS West social channels to check out special teasers shared on each official full moon date,” ATLUS West said in an official press release.
The new remake will not include the female protagonist from Persona 3 Portable or The Answer story scenario, but fans can still look forward to main story elements from FES. Players can also expect “side stories” that expand on the party and world of the game. Further, the game will have the most voiced lines in a single title in the entire Persona series. This is due to the amount of new scenes and voice acting for dialogue that was not originally voiced in Persona 3.
