Marvelous announced Project Magia, a brand-new game with creative input and character designs by Fairy Tail and Edens Zero mangaka Hiro Mashima. The new title was announced at Marvelous Game Showcase 2023.
Project Magia managing producer Takehiro Ishida revealed the new title with the goal of approaching “a new frontier” in gaming. Ishida went on to discuss the game’s character designs and Mashima’s role in the project. Additionally, the managing producer teased fans about the game’s genre, which was not officially revealed yet. Project Magia is in development for unknown platforms, and a release window has not been announced.

Managing producer Takehiro Ishida revealed the first details of this upcoming project, built around the theme of “A New Frontier”. The development team has partnered with legendary illustrator and writer Hiro Mashima (Fairy Tail) to design the game’s characters, sharing a look at a few of the early designs. More details will be revealed at a later date as the development team works to brave this new frontier for Marvelous!
During Marvelous Game Showcase 2023, Marvelous announced two new Story of Seasons games, Project Life is RPG, two new Rune Factory games, and the sequel to Daemon X Machina.
