Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – How to Get More Battery

    Earn that power!

If you’ve been exploring the world of Hyrule in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, chances are you’ve been utilizing the game’s newest feature – Zonai devices. These different pieces of technology were left behind by the ancient tribe known as the Zonai. Powering these devices are Batteries, which are given to you by the Zonai Construct on the Great Sky Island. As you build larger and more complex contraptions, you’ll need more Battery in Tears of the Kingdom to ensure you don’t run out too quickly.

The game does not outright show you how to obtain more Battery, but if you’ve stumbled upon this article you’re in luck. Here is everything you need to know about obtaining more Battery in Tears of the Kingdom

Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Guide – How to Get More Battery

    Zonite Tears of the Kingdom

To get more Battery, you’ll want to upgrade your Energy Cell in order to max out the amount of juice at your disposal. Each upgrade will give you another battery slot, which means you extend your overall Zonai Device usage time by that amount. To start the process of upgrading your Energy Cell, you’ll need to collect Zonite.

Zonite is an essential material in TOTK and will grant you the ability to upgrade and purchase all sorts of things. If you’re looking for a fast way to earn Zonite, head to the Depths and knock out enemies for your highest chance of it dropping.

As for how much Zonite you’re looking to have, the more the better. Once you have a good amount of Zonite, you’ll want to head to a Construct and purchase 100 Crystalized Charges. These are not available at all Constructs, but only at the ones called Forge Constructs, which are always found near mines or blacksmith areas.

Crystal Refinery Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

Once you’ve collected 100 Crystalized Charges, head to the Great Sky Island at these specific coordinates: (-0214, 0194, 0031). Here, you will be at the Crystal Refinery, where you can spend 100 Crystalized Charges in exchange for an Energy Well. Upon purchase, this will automatically upgrade to your Energy Cell.

It’s that easy! While it might take some time, getting this upgrade to add more Battery to your Energy Cell is pretty easy.

Other Ways to Get More Battery in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

    Glider Tears of the Kingdom

The method of upgrading your Energy Cell is not the only way that you can obtain more Battery in Tears of the Kingdom. You can also look at the Zonai Charges, which when used will replenish your Battery in your Energy Cell. This can be extremely useful when on the go and looking to quickly refill your lost charge.

Additionally, you can also use External Batteries to power your vehicles. Your creations will first drain these batteries before moving onto the Energy Cell. This means that for something like a hot air balloon or glider, you can actually delay the usage of your Energy Cell.
