Autobuild is one of the brand new features found in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. This amazing feature allows you to actually save your favorite Zonai device configurations so you can rapidly build your vehicles on a whim.
Autobuild is unlocked naturally through a questline that starts with ‘Camera Work in the Depths’, however, you do not actually need to follow this questline to unlock the ability. This means that if you want, you can actually head over and obtain Autobuild extremely early in the game, where it might have taken you a little while otherwise. Here’s everything you need to know about how to get the Autobuild ability early in Tears of the Kingdom.
Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – How to Get Autobuild Fast
You’ll want to dive into the Great Plateau and head over to the Great Plateau East Chasm. While you can easily reach this area on foot, it is easier to just dive from the Great Sky Island and glide over to the area. When you land or arrive at the Chasm, you’ll want to dive down into the Depths below.
Note: You can also enter through the Great Plateau North Chasm. While we used the East Chasm, this works just as well but you’ll head South instead.
Once you’re in the Depths, start using Brightbloom Seeds to light the area and head directly to the West towards the Great Abandoned Central Mine. If you’re having trouble finding this location, look at your map but also just look for a lit area in the West. There are multiple lights here that light the location up from a distance.
At the location, simply interact with the Construct and you will be rewarded with Autobuild!
Is Autobuild Useful in Tears of the Kingdom?
Autobuild is an extremely useful tool. As outlined earlier, you can actually have prefabs for your favorite vehicle creations. This way, you won’t need to individually build a vehicle each time you need one. We think Autobuild is an extremely useful tool you can find great fun with in Hyrule!
