Nintendo and Intelligent Systems announced Chrom from Fire Emblem Awakening joins Fire Emblem Heroes as a new Rearmed Hero. Rearmed Chrom is joined by several new heroes in an upcoming summoning event.
The New Heroes & Rearmed Chrom summoning event comes to Fire Emblem Heroes on May 9 at 12 a.m. PDT / 3 a.m. EDT. Rearmed Chrom is equipped with the Arcane Devourer sword, which accelerates Special Trigger cooldown. The Arcane Devourer sword grants a buff of ATK/SPD/DEF/RES +5 if the unit’s HP is above 25%. Moreover, Rearmed Chrom has several other skills at the ready in Fire Emblem Heroes.
Since Rearmed Chrom is a cavalry unit, he has greater movement range when compared to standard infantry units. Rearmed Chrom’s “Fate Unchanged…” allows him to move a target ally to the opposite side of the unit while granting them another action. Additionally, the skill inflicts the Isolation status effect and Pair Up cohort (if any) through their next action. Nearby foes within four spaces are inflicted with the Exposure effect. Rearmed Chrom includes the Galeforce Special, ATK/SPD Clash 4, SPD/DEF Snag 4, and Inf. SPD Tactic skills as well.
Anankos from Fire Emblem Fates joins the game alongside Rearmed Chrom and new versions of Byleth and Maria. The next Grand Hero Battle begins on May 10 at 12 a.m. PDT / 3 a.m. EDT featuring Linus: Savage Dog. Fire Emblem Heroes players may challenge Linus on several difficulty levels to recruit him as a playable unit and earn additional rewards.
