Nintendo announced in their direct this evening that GameBoy and GBA titles are available on Nintendo Switch Online, starting today.
We reported in November that the Nintendo Switch Online subscriptions increased after the inclusion of Nintendo 64 games. Thankfully, we see now with this announcement that they made “further improvements” as a result.
That being said, playing both Gameboy and Gameboy Advance games requires payment for the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. This bundle allows you to play Nintendo 64 games as well, giving you a large library at your disposal. Furthermore, keep in mind that you can play some games locally or online, but only with friends. Also, the Game Boy games allow you to change the screen filters. This allows you to play games using the Game Boy Color, Game Boy Pocket, or Game Boy screen filters.
Many games for both the Gameboy and Gameboy Advance will be dropping today so here is a list of them!

GameBoy and GBA Titles Available Now on Nintendo Switch Online – What’s Next?
With, GameBoy and GBA titles being available now on Nintendo Switch Online, players are sure to expect more coming. Going forward, Nintendo will release more games for both the Game Boy and Game Boy Advance in this online service. Pokemon Trading Card Game, Metroid Fusion, and Golden Sun, were the many games teased at the showcase.
