A brand-new The Quintessential Quintuplets anime series will premiere in summer 2023 in Japan. The new anime series is titled The Quintessential Quintuplets ~, and it will adapt Fuutarou Uesugi’s summer arc for the very first time.
New Anime Series Revealed
The Quintessential Quintuplets ~ covers the events of Fuutarou’s last summer vacation before his high school graduation. Fuutarou will be unable to tutor the Nakano sisters due to his studies. However, the group’s fortunes seem to turn in their favor once they receive a call from Fuutarou. This particular arc of The Quintessential Quintuplets was not depicted in the original anime series, but fans will finally be able to watch it in Japanese theaters soon.
A three-week theatrical screening of the upcoming anime series will be held in participating Japanese theaters starting on July 14. A full premiere for The Quintessential Quintuplets ~ will come later this summer. Starting today, fans visiting theaters in Japan may purchase a movie ticket for the screening for 1,200 yen. Purchases of the movie ticket include a bonus clear file while supplies last.
Alongside the announcement of the limited-time screening, the official opening and ending themes for The Quintessential Quintuplets ~ were revealed. The quintuplets perform the opening theme “Gotoubun no Mirai” and the ending theme “Takaramono.” Fans may purchase an album featuring these two songs, “The Only One in the World,” and “My Hero” soon in Japan. “The Only One in the World” is the theme song for The Quintessential Quintuplets: My Five Promises With Her, whereas “My Hero” is the theme song of The Quintessential Quintuplets: Gotopazu Story.
