Idol Showdown Surpasses 200,000 Downloads on Steam

A major milestone achieved in less than two days.

Besto Games and Besto Game Team announced fan-made free-to-play Hololive fighting game Idol Showdown surpassed 200,000 downloads worldwide on PC via Steam. The new fighting game quickly became a success following its launch on May 5 with thousands of concurrent players.

According to Besto Games, over 10,000 concurrent players are running Idol Showdown on Steam. Idol Showdown reached this concurrent player milestone is less than 48 hours since launch. Several VTubers have played Idol Showdown in this short window including Inugami Korone, IRyS, and Kaela Kovalskia. Coincidentally, Korone is also a playable fighter in Idol Showdown alongside Shirakami Fubuki and Shishiro Botan.
