In 404 GAME RE:SET, prolific SEGA franchises have been warped into powerful girls to fight against the antagonistic threat of SEGA itself. These SEGA girls include Out Run, After Burner, Virtua Fighter, and Virtua Cop. NieR creator Yoko Taro serves as creative director, and Yuugen is the game’s character designer. The prolific director and SEGA’s development team bring the stories of these girls to life in the new mobile RPG. Fans can expect more characters in post-launch collaboration events with other prolific gaming companies.
Shortly before the launch of the full game, the 404 GAME RE:SET Prologue allowed players to experience a compelling prequel story. From the perspective of a SEGA researcher, 404 GAME RE:SET Prologue introduced players to the world, cast, and battle elements featured in the full game.
Lastly, 404 GAME RE:SET is available now for Android and iOS in Japan and Asia, and a worldwide release was not announced.
