What is the Emerald Band For?
There are platforms that are near floating crystals all throughout the world of Ryza 3. You need the Emerald Band in order to make an ethereal thread to swing across these gaps. There are many locations you can only reach with the Emerald Band, however, you don’t need it for Main Story Progression.
How to Make the Emerald Band?
You unlock the Recipe during the early part of the story. Ryza remembers the Emerald Band from Ryza 2 while chilling in the Secret Hideout. Be sure to progress in the story and check back to the Secret Hideout often. The event should trigger and allow you to synthesize the Emerald Band. After this check your Skill Tree and purchase the recipe. Make sure you get the ‘Gathering Quantity Boost Lv.1’ upgrade first.
The required ingredients to synthesize the Emerald Band are Emerald Glass and Iron Ingots. Emerald Glass can be obtained in many places, but I got most of mine in Cleria near the Mine areas inside of big urn-like storage containers.
There are Blue, Yellow, and Red crystals that each require a different effect of the Emerald Band. You need a lot of Emerald Glass to get the ‘Yellow Crystal Connections’ Trait and then you need to meet the Quality requirement of 100 and more Emerald Glass to get the ‘All Crystal Connections’ Trait. You will need these traits in order to explore everywhere.
