    Sony Increases PS5 Supply, Launches ‘Live from PS5’ Advertisements

    Celebrating fan-favorite PS5 games.

    Sony Interactive Entertainment launches its new advertising initiative titled “Live from PS5,” which celebrates increased worldwide supply of the console.

    The “Live from PS5” advertisement depicts games from the PlayStation universe as breaking news style segments on a news channel. For instance, a news story from New York City depicts Spider-Man in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Fans can expect more “celebrations of PS5 games” to come via the official “Live from PS5” webpage

    Sony promises to “bring you the extraordinary” as PS5 consoles are made readily available at retailers worldwide. Customers should be able to purchase the console more easily through the direct PlayStation shop as well.

    The company reiterates its upcoming lineup of first-party and third-party titles for 2023 including Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Final Fantasy XVI, Hogwarts Legacy, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Resident Evil 4: Remake and Street Fighter 6. Further, players may also look forward to the upcoming Destiny 2: Lightfall and Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores expansions as well. 

    “To all our fans: thank you for your patience as we navigated unprecedented demand for the PS5 console amid global challenges, said Isabelle Tomatis, Sony Interactive Entertainment vice president of brand, hardware, and peripherals. “If you’re looking to purchase a PS5 console, you should now have a much easier time finding one at retailers globally.”
