The Dead Space remake arrives next week, but its trophy list is already here. Spotted within PlayStation’s servers, Dead Space‘s trophy list largely resembles the 2008 original’s. Familiar fan-favorite challenges like beating the game with only the Plasma Cutter, and becoming a master zero-gravity basketball player have returned.
The game’s progression trophies aren’t difficulty based, but there are several other achievements, most for full completion of the game, that depend on the challenge level you’re playing on. The trophy for completing the game on Impossible Mode is sure to be a rare one. Unless you can swap difficulties when starting a New Game Plus, that is.
The Dead Space trophy list is largely spoiler free, but there is a single achievement on the list that appears to vaguely imply the events of a story beat. It also seems to be a newly added (not featured in the 2008 original) event, so this would be a revelation to even hardcore fans of the series. Spoiler-averse players should bear this in mind before checking out these trophies.
While this list is sourced from PlayStation and is specifically for PS5, Xbox and Steam users can safely assume that this list mirrors their own achievement set (minus the platinum trophy).
