    Dead Space Launch Trailer Released

The launch trailer is finally here.

Electronic Arts has revealed the launch trailer for Dead Space, which is set to be released on January 27, 2023. Dead Space is a remake of the beloved horror classic of the same name, which was originally released in 2008. The game is being developed by Motive, who most recently released Star Wars: Squadrons. You can check out the new trailer below, alongside the description of the title.:

Isaac Clarke is an everyman engineer on a mission to repair a vast Planet Cracker-class ship, the USG Ishimura, only to discover something has gone horribly wrong. The ship’s crew has been slaughtered and Isaac’s beloved partner, Nicole, is lost somewhere on board.

Now alone and armed with only his engineering tools and skills, Isaac races to uncover the nightmarish mystery of what happened aboard the Ishimura in hopes of finding Nicole. Trapped with hostile creatures called Necromorphs, Isaac faces a battle for survival, not only against the escalating terrors of the ship but his own crumbling sanity.

Alongside the new Dead Space trailer, a new blog post was released as well. This was the fifth iteration of Inside Dead Space, which gives developer commentary on the new title. This post was about the story of the game, and it is a really interesting read. The developers talk about new changes and being faithful to the original. You can read this post here.

Dead Space launches on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on January 27, 2023.
