Adventure into the Sumeru desert once more.

HoYoverse revealed new details about Genshin Impact version 3.4 and events for phase 1, which will launch on January 18. Players on Android and iOS may prepare for the new events by pre-installing the version 3.4 update.

Alhaitham makes his playable debut with the “Caution in Confidence” event wish starting January 18. Additionally, players may summon Xiao once more from the “Invitation to Mundane Life” event wish. Yaoyao, Xinyan, and Yun Jin are featured as 4-star focus characters in both event wishes. Further, the Epitome Invocation event wish will be refreshed with Alhaitham’s new sword, Light of Foliar Incision.

During Genshin Impact version 3.4 phase 1, players will learn even more about Alhaitham in his new story quest. Sumeru will be updated with a brand-new area called the “Desert of Hadramaveth.” Two new domains will be available to unlock and complete by exploring the new area.

On January 19, the “May Fortune Find You” login bonus event begins. Players will be able to earn up to 10 Intertwined Fates, which is crucial for summoning from event wishes. “The Exquisite Night Chimes” event begin that same day with even more rewards to obtain. The “Iridescent Splendor” event begins February 5 with daily rewards until February 9.

Kamisato Ayaka and Lisa will receive new outfits in Genshin Impact version 3.4, allowing players to explore the Desert of Hadramaveth and Teyvat with new attire. Lisa’s outfit may be obtained for free by participating in the Second Blooming event starting January 31. Ayaka’s outfit may be purchased at the in-game outfit shop.

More events are coming to Genshin Impact soon in phase 2 of version 3.4, and HoYoverse will likely share more information in February. A Nintendo Switch version of Genshin Impact is in development with no confirmed release date as well.

Lastly, Genshin Impact is available now for Android, iOS, PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
