HoYoverse announced the Genshin Impact Version 3.4 Special Program is set for January 6, 2023 at 7:00 a.m. (UTC-5) on the game’s official Twitch channel.
The special program will reveal new details about what’s to come in Genshin Impact version 3.4 and a release date for the new update. Fans may tune into the digital event on Twitch at 7:00 a.m. (UTC-5) and YouTube at 8:00 a.m. (UTC-5) according to HoYoverse. Additionally, fans can expect new promo codes to be released during the special program for rewards such as Primogems, Mora, and Hero’s Wit.
Previously, HoYoverse revealed playable character Yaoyao during a Genshin Impact trailer at The Game Awards 2022. Alhaitham, the illustrious Sumeru Akademiya scribe, will join her in Genshin Impact version 3.4. Further, the new update expands the Sumeru desert region with new areas and content. Liyue’s Lantern Rite event will also return.

Genshin Impact and the latest update, version 3.3, are available now for Android, iOS, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Epic Games Store and Windows. HoYoverse is currently developing a Nintendo Switch version of Genshin Impact. A release date for the Switch version was not announced.
