    Konami Teases Unannounced New Projects, ‘Developments for Familiar Series’

    Konami teased new unannounced projects and “developers for familiar series” in Famitsu’s New Year’s greeting article for 2023.

    According to Konami, the company aims to “leap even further” with “power-ups” and new developments for familiar series. The company is progressing development on multiple unannounced new projects. Konami hopes fans look forward to these announcements and stay tuned for more information throughout 2023.

    “This year is the year of the Rabbit, so we are planning power-ups and new developments for familiar series with the aiming of leaping even further,” Konami said at Famitsu. “Additionally, we’re deeply and quietly progressing on new project(s) that we have yet to announce to you all. Konami is leaping forward, so by all means please stay tuned.”

    Konami held the “Silent Hill Transmission” presentation on October 19, 2022 to announce multiple new projects for the Silent Hill franchise. The company is working closely with Bloober Team to develop Silent Hill 2 remake for PlayStation 5 and PC.

    Another major Silent Hill title in development is Silent Hill f, a brand-new game developed by Neobards Entertainment (Resident Evil Re:Verse) and written by Ryukishi07 (When They Cry series). The game features a completely new story set in 1960’s Japan.

    Lastly, JRPG fans may look forward to Suikoden I & II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars. These classic JRPG remasters launch in 2023 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
