Final Fantasy XVI is one of the most anticipated game releases of 2023, and Square Enix is preparing to share more news soon.
In a new Twitter post by the official Final Fantasy XVI account, Square Enix confirmed that the company is preparing to share more news ahead of the June 22, 2023 release. Square Enix would reveal various editions of Final Fantasy XVI including the extravagant $349.99 collector’s edition. The collector’s edition features a Phoenix vs Ifrit figure, cloth map of Valisthea, Blood Sword DLC, metal pin set, and a special Clive Rosfield. Pre-orders for Final Fantasy XVI began on December 12.
Following the pre-order reveal, Square Enix shared a first look at Moogles in Final Fantasy XVI. These Moogles retain their signature design last shown in titles such as Final Fantasy IX and Final Fantasy XIV.
Lastly, Final Fantasy XVI launches on June 22, 2023 for PlayStation 5, and more news is coming in the new year.
