    Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Series for PS4/Switch Releases Spring 2023

    The original six finally make their way to console.

    The Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch is set to release in Spring 2023 worldwide. The collection recently was rated by the ESRB last week, with the announcement being extremely timely considering today is Final Fantasy’s 35th anniversary.

    The remasters are of Final Fantasy I, Final Fantasy II, Final Fantasy III, Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy V, and Final Fantasy VI. This collection was originally announced for Steam and mobile at E3 2021. The releases of the individual remasters were staggered, with the last remaster of Final Fantasy VI released this past February.

    The limited edition for the remasters includes a vinyl covering music selections from Final Fantasy I through Final Fantasy VI, an art book, as well as an ultimania. Additionally, a pixel figure set and a lenticular sleeve are also included. The price for this package will be $259.99, exclusive to the Square Enix store. There is also a standard physical of the game, costing $74.99 on the Square Enix store as well. Below is an overview from Square Enix.
