Black Stella Inferno ends service on September 12, new Black Stella game in development

A new Black Stella game is in development.

CyberStep announced mobile game Black Stella Inferno ends service on September 12 for iOS and Android. However, CyberStep outlined the future of the series with a major announcement.

The Japanese mobile RPG ends service at 15:00 JST on September 12, and a brand-new Black Stella game is in development. CyberStep is developing the new game alongside Orcus Co. Ltd, a company that acquired the copyright and trademark rights to Black Stella. The new Black Stella game releases in Spring 2023 for iOS and Android in Japan.

According to CyberStep, Black Stella Inferno’s content and main scenario did not meet expectations of the developers and players alike. Once Orcus acquired the rights to the franchise, it was decided that the game should end service and start anew with another project.

CyberStep is accepting refunds for purchases made in Black Stella Inferno between now and October 14. By October 14, CyberStep’s support for the title will completely cease. Refund requests must be made in the given timeframe. Ideally, the requests should be made before September 12 to ensure compatibility with purchase history in the title. More details are available through the official website.

Lastly, Black Stella Inferno released on June 22 for iOS and Android in Japan.
