Gotcha Gotcha Games revealed new details regarding default character assets found within RPG Maker Unite.
RPG Maker Unite features a total of 24 default character assets for party members and a total of 46 NPC character assets. These assets are used in the RPG Maker Unite sample game. Additionally, the assets will be available as a free download for game creators after the game launches.

■Default Characters Assets Released!
In RPG games, characters such as Party Members or NPC (non-player characters) are very important to world-building and story progression. However, not everyone has the needed creative skills to draw or edit their own characters. Fret not! Like always from past titles, we have prepared a stash of default character assets for this purpose so that anyone can create a game!
In our previous news announcements, we also released bits of info about default characters that will be used in our Official Sample Game. This time, we are releasing information on all the default characters that will be available at launch!
■Party Member Character Assets
There are a total 24 character assets that can be used as Party Members. These characters have both map animations and side-view battle animations.
■NPC Character Assets
On the other hand, characters that users can use as NPCs total up to 46 characters. Since NPCs do not join players into battle, they contain just the animations for map movements.
■Character Full Body Portraits Will Be Available as Free Downloads!
All default characters released today will be available on our official website as free download in PSD and PNG format after RPG Maker Unite is released! For reference only, these full body-portraits are created within a dimension of “Width：1416 ~ 1900” x “Height ： 2027 ~ 2200”, at 72PPI resolution.
Those confident in image editing, are free to use these character assets for their game creation purposes!
Lastly, RPG Maker Unite is coming soon to Steam.
