As previously reported, the Twisted Metal reboot project was taken off of Lucid Games and switched developers. According to VGC, the new developer is actually Firesprite, a PlayStation development studio based in the UK. Firesprite is also currently working on Horizon Call of the Mountain for PS VR 2. Motorstorm series director Matt Southern also left Lucid Games to lead the new Twisted Metal reboot at Firesprite. It’s unknown whether Southern was working on Lucid Games’ version of the reboot.
