The latest patch for Fire Emblem: Three Houses has changed one of Bernadetta’s lines

So it seems like Nintendo decided to tone down one of Bernadetta’s line and it’s arguably an unnecessary change. In patch 1.0.2 which was released on Monday, the line “To train me good, submissive wife, he’d do things like tie me to the chair and leave me there all day, challenging me to stay quiet” has been altered to “To train me to a good wife, he’d do things such as tie me to a chair.”

This basically removes almost any impact from the original scene especially since it’s a rather important plotline in Bernie’s story because she acts the way she does in the first half. I don’t know why Nintendo decided to patch this out for every version except Japan but I guess they wanted to tone it down? Whatever the case I hope Nintendo does come forth and comment on it because a lot of people like myself are puzzled.
