Recruitable characters return in Yakuza 7 and among them are returning characters from previous Yakuza games! Some of them include Gondawara, Gary Buster Holmes and even Nugget from Yakuza 0.

Yakuza 7 includes an Auto mode where characters attack on their own. This may be useful for grinding or getting through battles quickly.
