Rumor: specs for Nvidia’s RTX 3000 series of Ampere GPUs have surfaced

The latest rumor of Nvidia’s RTX 3000 series comes from Videocardz.com, as it seems that specs for the upcoming Ampere GPUs have surfaced. Its important to note that these specs are rumors and don’t reflect the final version unless proven so through reviews and the like. However, these specs may set expectations for the upcoming set of Nvidia GPUs.

The Ampere family of GPUs are centered around the 7nm process, allowing for more performance at a reasonable clock speed. Less power draw is put into the equation as well. The specs are available here in full detail although we are somewhat skeptical as they aren’t detailed enough like the previous Turing GPU diagrams.

The RTX 3080’s 320-bit memory bus allows for anywhere between a 8GB and 16 GB variant although we expect the 3080 Ti to have the 16GB of GDDR6 VRAM. The 3080 and 3070’s memory buses will most likely support 12 GB and 8 GB GDDR6 respectively as these tiers will dictate pricing from the mid-range to high-end. This information is still a rumor, so its best to wait until GTC 2020 in March where Nvidia will formally reveal these GPUs.

SEGA’s Toshihiro Nagoshi discusses the future of the Yakuza series, possible scenarios

Yakuza: Like a Dragon marks a different direction for the series. For the past decade and a half, Yakuza has made its name as an action game series. Moving to the RPG genre posed some challenges according to Toshihiro Nagoshi from SEGA. In multiple interviews, Nagoshi elaborated on what we could see in the future of the series. Here are excerpts of those interviews courtesy of DualShockers:

Possible scenarios for future Yakuza games:

Toshihiro Nagoshi:  Making Ryu Ga Gotoku 7 into an RPG was a big challenge. For the next game, we can keep going with RPG and make something that surpasses it. We can also go back to action. We could also make a hybrid system mixing action and the new RPG system. All of these are possible scenarios.

Nagoshi’s outlook for the future of Yakuza’s combat:

Toshihiro Nagoshi: Personally speaking, I want to keep going through the same road, and see what we could improve. For example, making the battle system even more enjoyable, by adding new functionalities related to the terrain and the battles’ areas. We could also strenghten the company management mode. Things like that. But for now, I don’t wanna think about all that yet (laughs).

Yakuza: Like a Dragon is out now in Japan for PS4 and releases sometime this year in the west. Stay tuned at Final Weapon for the latest Japanese gaming news!
