Maebashi Witches Compilation Film Premieres on October 23

Gekijōban Maebashi Witches: Majo Minarai no Emoemories (Maebashi Witches Emoemories: Blooming Witches), the compilation film of the Maebashi Witches TV anime, will release on October 23 in Japan. Both returning staff and the new theme song have been revealed.

The film’s theme song will be “Amebare Make Up,” with lyrics written by Yūki Iwai. The Maebashi Witches anime series premiered on April 6, 2025. Sunrise is credited for the original work. Junichi Yamamoto directs the anime at Bandai Namco Filmworks and PROJECT MBW. Erika Yoshida is in charge of the series scripts. Nozomi Tachibana is designing the characters based on original character designs by Yū Inami. Yuri Habuka is the music composer. All are set to return for the film. Yoshiki Imazu handled the anime’s “witchverse” designs.

Welcome to Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture. For first-year high school student Yuina Akagi, her middling life takes a wild turn the moment a mysterious frog named Keroppe shows up and asks her, “Why don’t you become a witch?” Alongside Azu Niisato, Kyoka Kitahara, Choco Mitsumata, and Mai Kamiizumi, Yuina and her friends are excited to make people’s dreams come true as the Maebashi Witches.
