Power-up your punches to deal extra damage or curve your fists around obstacles to hit skittish opponents. Fill up your special gauge to dish out devastating combinations and finish them off. Fighter’s Pass 2 is expected to be fully available by the end of December 2021.

Popular 2K Games arriving on Nintendo Switch on May 29

In today’s Nintendo Direct Mini, Nintendo showcased some surprising third party titles, among which are some wildly popular games  from developer 2K Games:

• Bioshock: The Collection – return to the classic series featuring Little Sisters, Big Brothers, and Father Comstock when all three Bioshock games launch on Nintendo Switch with all released DLC!

• Borderlands: Legendary Collection – Handsome Jack returns to Pandora as three legendary games come together in one package – meet the dapper villain for the first time in Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition; fight for Pandora in Borderlands 2; and return to where it began in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel! All DLC for these games will be included, except for the recently released Commander Lillith DLC for Borderlands 2.

• XCOM 2 Collection – fight for human survival against dastardly aliens in a tactical RPG when XCOM 2 and all it’s DLC launches on Nintendo Switch!

All three games will launch on Nintendo Switch on May 29 later this year.

Catherine: Full Body launches on Nintendo Switch on July 7th

In today’s Nintendo Direct, it was announced that Catherine: Full Body launches on Nintendo Switch on July 7th, 2020. Previously this game was exclusively on PS4, but that is not the case anymore! You can learn more about the game below.

Classic Star Wars games coming to Nintendo Switch and PS4

Earlier today, Nintendo themselves surprised us with a loooooong awaited Nintendo Direct Mini. Fans have been wanting to know what exactly is coming to the Switch this year and now they’ve got an idea!

Among the many titles listed in today’s Direct Mini, Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy and Star Wars Episode I: Racer, two classics from older generations, are getting a rerelease on the Nintendo Switch.

Developer Aspyr Entertainment has blessed us with an instant release (available today)of Jedi Academy, in which you play as your own customizable character who is a member of Luke Skywalker’s school of up-and-coming Jedi. Take part in events from the saga and join up to eight other players in online multiplayer.

Star Wars Episode I: Racer, originally released on the Nintendo 64, sees players taking the pilot seat of their very own podracer and racing through planets such as Tatooine, Hoth, and so many more. The game seems to be a full remaster and will feature both local and online multiplayer.

No release date for Racer has been announced but both titles will be releasing on PS4 as well!

Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition will launch on May 29th, 2020

Nintendo has announced that Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition will launch exclusively on Nintendo Switch on May 29th, 2020. The game features a brand new epilogue, remastered visuals, soundtrack, and more. You can learn more below.

Compile Heart showcases TKMK Flash and Step Charm moves in VVVtunia

Compile Heart has updated the VVVtunia official website with some new info! TKMK Flash and Step Charm are introduced in this action RPG spinoff, check out the details below courtesy of Gematsu:

Battle (as one of the Four Goddesses): 

The Four Goddesses have the power to purify the hearts of Anti enemies. By maxing out the Purify Gauge, TKMK Flash may be activated. TKMK Flash allows players to deal heavy damage, knock back powerful attacks and even knock down enemies.

Battle (as one of the Virtual Idols)

Virtual Idols may perform a Step Charm with a correctly timed dodge action, granting infinite MP to the play for a period of time. Deal heavy damage by unleashing as many skills as you can while Step Charm is active.

DLC character Sogetsu Kazama releases on April 1st for Samurai Shodown

SNK has announced that DLC character Sogetsu Kazama releases on April 1st for Samurai Shodown! Sogetsu Kazama will be sold separately or downloaded as part of Season Pass 2 just like Iroha and Mina. Season Pass 2 costs $13.99. Check out the latest trailer below:

*Updated* Platinum Games’ final “Platinum 4” announcement is coming on April 1st

Platinum Games has updated the official Platinum 4 website with a new date, April 1st! On that day, the final Platinum 4 announcement will be made. The previous 3 included The Wonderful 101: Remastered, Project G.G. and the establishment of Platinum Games Tokyo.

*Update* Unfortunately, the fourth Platinum 4 announcement was an April Fools joke.

Mortal Kombat 11 leaks Ash from “Army of Darkness”

Ash coming to Mortal Kombat 11 has been rumored for a very long time, but it seems that he is all but confirmed finally. Netherrealm sent out a newsletter earlier today that was advertising Spawn, and the Kombat Pack. Little did they know they forgot to remove one excerpt on the bottom. That being the rights and licensing for Ash from the “Army of Darkness”. While he is originally from the Evil Dead franchise, Army of Darkness is a sequel to those movies. This all but confirms that Ash is finally joining the game sometime in the future. You can view the picture down below!

Nintendo states that “more systems are on the way” to US retailers following shortages caused by coronavirus

The Switch and Switch Lite have been selling out across the US due to shortages caused by the coronavirus outbreak. However, Nintendo states that more shipments are being sent to retailers like GameStop, Amazon, etc. People who would like to purchase a Switch online or in stores that are still open may soon do so. Here’s the official excerpt from Nintendo to GameSpot:

“Nintendo Switch hardware is selling out at various retail locations in the U.S., but more systems are on the way. We apologize for any inconvenience.”
