Classic Star Wars games coming to Nintendo Switch and PS4

Earlier today, Nintendo themselves surprised us with a loooooong awaited Nintendo Direct Mini. Fans have been wanting to know what exactly is coming to the Switch this year and now they’ve got an idea!

Among the many titles listed in today’s Direct Mini, Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy and Star Wars Episode I: Racer, two classics from older generations, are getting a rerelease on the Nintendo Switch.

Developer Aspyr Entertainment has blessed us with an instant release (available today)of Jedi Academy, in which you play as your own customizable character who is a member of Luke Skywalker’s school of up-and-coming Jedi. Take part in events from the saga and join up to eight other players in online multiplayer.

Star Wars Episode I: Racer, originally released on the Nintendo 64, sees players taking the pilot seat of their very own podracer and racing through planets such as Tatooine, Hoth, and so many more. The game seems to be a full remaster and will feature both local and online multiplayer.

No release date for Racer has been announced but both titles will be releasing on PS4 as well!

For all things Nintendo Direct, keep it here at Final Weapon!
