Rumor: Resident Evil 3 Remake Co-Developer Working on Another Project with Capcom

M-Two, the studio who supported the development of Resident Evil 3 Remake with Capcom, is reportedly collaborating with the company again with a new project. According to a post by Andy Robinson of VGC.

The report indicates that, unlike Resident Evil 3 Remake, M-Two will be “the primary developer on a larger remake project for Capcom” rather than help out in a secondary capacity this time around.

What title Capcom is giving the remake treatment remains to be seen. But we’ll report the details once they come out.

Resident Evil 3 Remake will release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on April 3rd. In the meantime, the demo is available now to play.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered was listed in the German PlayStation Store as a March 31st release. This is ahead of any official announcement, but it should come very soon. Rumor: multiple Mario remasters and new games are coming to Switch this year, coinciding with the 35th anniversary of Super Mario Bros

This latest rumor comes from VGC which was backed up by Eurogamer. The rumor states that Mario is in for an eventiful year as several remasters and new games in the series are coming to Switch. These remasters and games are tied to the 35th anniversary of the popular plumber himself. Another rumor that has been reinforced by both outlets is the existence of a new Paper Mario game. The new Paper Mario game is supposedly coming out for Switch later this year.

*Update* Gematsu has heard reports of Super Mario 64 and Sunshine getting HD remasters on Switch.

In terms of remasters, both outlets states a Deluxe Edition of Super Mario 3D World and a Super Mario Galaxy remaster. However, please take this rumor with a grain of salt as no plans for the Mario series have been announced by Nintendo as of yet. SEGA has announced that the company will be re-branding itself to SEGA Co Ltd! With this re-branding, SEGA Games and SEGA Interactive will unite as one whole entity. SEGA Games includes the console, PC, and mobile device operations of the company. On the flip side, SEGA Interactive was in charge of arcade machines and similar operations of that nature in Japan. Steam has broken records again today, reaching 23.4 million concurrent users and 7.25 million concurrent players in game. This is great news for Valve, but actually not that surprising. With the recent quarantines imposed across the world, many are using this downtime to hop on Steam and play some of their favorite PC games. During the live stream, it was announced that NieR: Automata would be making its way to Xbox Game Pass on April 2nd!
