During INDIE Live Expo 2024 Winter, Why So Serious (WSS), Alliance Arts and WHO YOU announced rhythm adventure game Yunyun Syndrome!? Rhythm Psychosis has been delayed to 2025. Originally, the game was planned to launch in 2024.

In Yunyun Syndrome!? Rhythm Psychosis, players explore the game from the perspective of a shut-in girl that gets high on radio songs. She also posts strange messages on social media and throws the world into chaos.

At launch, the game will support English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese language options. 30 songs are planned for launch as well.

And then prepare for the climax where you can start dropping posts left and right. Successfully posting will cause other social media users to become psychotically Yunyun-ified. Social media is all about sharing – spread your heartful psychosis to everyone else!

Characters!

Qtie – The main character. A hikikomori. She suffered too much irl that she’s become a little (very) fuzzy in the head. Her obsessive love for the fictional character “Yunyun” is for sure an illness. Her overly “high” state from overdosing denpa songs causes her to propagate Yunyun love. Will there really be a happy end for such a degenerate otaku?
Yunyun – A fictional character that loves Qtie. A very much angelic devil. She will speak to Qtie through the monitor screen. Whilst the truth is unknown, most likely, she is just a figment of Qtie’s imagination. It’s joever for her.

Q. What is a “denpa” song?
It is a genre of music that is intentionally strange and catchy. All playable songs in this game are denpa songs.
Many popular denpa songs such as “it’s a cherry kissing explosion” (Sakuranbo Kiss) and many more are featured!

During INDIE Live Expo 2024 Winter, WSS Playground announced Needy Streamer Overload is coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on January 21, 2025.

That same day, WSS Playground will release Needy Streamer Overload: Typing of The Net, a brand new typing game for PC via Steam. The new PC title will be available for just $7.99

With over one million copies sold, Needy Streamer Overload is one of the most successful Japanese indie titles in recent memory. The game would go on to receive multiple new figures, a manga adaptation, physical editions, and even a soundtrack vinyl.

You, a mechanic, have picked up three robots from a scrapyard.

Kemono Teatime Confirms Spring 2025 Release and Demo

FuRyu‘s Studio Lalala announced Kemono Teatime, a new kemomimi cafe management game featuring ASMR elements, will now release in spring 2025 for PC via Steam. The game was originally planned to launch in fall 2024.

Additionally, a free Kemono Teatime demo is now available on Steam until January 4, 2025. The game’s streaming guidelines were also revealed in a separate blog post. The demo and full game feature English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese language support.

The new Kemono Teatime game is co-produced by Fuyuki Hayashi (Monark, CRYMACHINA) and voice actress Kotori Koiwai. Additional talent involved with the project include ART Co. Ltd (programming), character designer NOCO, and animator mamesuzu.

As the protagonist, you are a second-year high school student who just transferred to a private academy for rich kids, because your old school got blown up and the academy was close to where you live. Story
