Monark and Crystar director Fuyuki Hayashi confirms that FuRyu plans to release three new games in 2024, according to Famitsu’s year-end developer interviews. Hayashi worked on all three of these titles, and announcements will be made in the first half of the new year.
FuRyu is the publisher of several notable RPGs from Japan, including The Caligula Effect 2 and CRYMACHINA. The company is also preparing the release of Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs: The Thrilling Steamy Maze Kiwami on January 18. Even more games appear to be in the works at FuRyu.
New FuRyu Games and Announcements in 2024
According to Hayashi, FuRyu plans to release at least three games in 2024. Hayashi is happy to work on multiple titles, and he confirms that multiple announcements will be made in the first half of 2024. Without alluding to specific details on these new games, Hayashi hopes fans look forward to what the company has in store for the new year.

“In 2024, we plan to release at least three titles. I’m happy to be able to work on so much. We will have various announcements in the first half of the year, so please look forward to them.”
This past October, FuRyu celebrated the second anniversary of Lancarse-developed RPG Monark with new artwork from illustrator so-bin. Hayashi subtly teased his next work at time, claiming that it would be a while before he’s able to elaborate about new developments. However, he hoped Monark fans would look forward to such developments. Hayashi also asked for the continued support of Monark, despite the lack of confirmation regarding a outright a sequel.
