FuRyu and Lancarse released new artwork to celebrate the second anniversary of turn-based RPG Monark. The new artwork depicts the protagonist alongside a character whose face is mysteriously hidden.
Monark surpassed 100,000 copies sold within its first year in October 2022, and FuRyu producer Fuyuki Hayashi thanked fans immensely for their support. At the time, Hayashi teased that a new project, but he did not have any specific details to share other than it would take some time. Hayashi shared another update to celebrate Monark’s second anniversary.
Monark 2nd Anniversary Artwork and Message
The new Monark second anniversary artwork depicts the protagonist and a character who’s face is covered by a dove. Character designer and illustrator so-bin lends their talents once more to design this new art. Moreover, Hayashi shared a a brief new message to fans regarding the second anniversary.
Hayashi states that everyone involved with development of Monark is happy with the support that fans continue to give them two years later. He also reiterates that the sales achieved during the game’s first year allows the development team to continue onto a “new challenge.” Once more, Hayashi states that will take some time before he’s able to elaborate further about new developments, but he hopes Monark fans will be impressed once the time finally comes.
Moreover, the development team plans to continue celebrating the second anniversary of Monark well into 2024. Hayashi hopes fans look forward to what’s coming soon. However, specific details regarding the new project and celebrations were not revealed. Finally, Hayashi asks fans for their continued support of Monark for more years to come.
