Fans of .hack and newcomers can replay or catch up with the .hack series with .hack//G.U. Last Recode, which is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam

Bocchi the Rock! Manga Returns from Extended Hiatus

Bocchi the Rock! manga

Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara Max magazine confirmed that Aki Hamaji’s Bocchi the Rock! manga will return from its hiatus in the magazine’s next issue. The Bocchi the Rock! manga has been on an extended hiatus since December 2025 so that Hamaji could recover from poor health, citing that she was recuperating from a physical sickness and not a mental one.

Aki Hamaji’s Bocchi the Rock! manga began in the Manga Time Kirara Max magazine in December 2017. The manga is still ongoing, and the Bocchi the Rock! anime series ran from October to December 2022. All 12 episodes are currently available to stream on Crunchyroll. Bocchi the Rock! Season 2 is currently in the works.

Yen Press publishes the series in English and describes the story:

Bocchi finally takes the stage in English, and she’s brought her best friend— crippling anxiety! Hitori Goto just wants to make friends, but the thought of approaching a stranger on her own makes her so nervous that she’s spent the entirety of middle school teaching herself how to shred on the guitar—to moderately successful (albeit anonymous) YouTube fame—in the hopes of seeming cool enough for someone else to reach out to her instead.

After bringing her guitar to school provokes zero interest, Hitori’s just about ready to shrivel up and die…which is when Nijika Ijichi comes across her moping in a playground and begs her to fill in for her band’s flaky guitarist for their first-ever live performance! It’s like her wish came true…but does this most antisocial of introverts have what it takes to perform in front of real people?!

It’s likely that the Omniscient Reader game will release on the same platforms. Omniscient Reader is a WEBTOON that is available to read now on the website. New chapters release every Tuesday.

Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine has serialized Gachiakuta as an ongoing series since February 2022. 18 volumes have been released for Gachiakuta so far. The manga recently returned from hiatus. Fans can catch up with the series in English on Kodansha’s K MANGA service. The first season of the Gachiakuta anime is streaming on Crunchyroll, and season 2 will premiere at a later date.

Lastly, the Steam page describes GACHIAKUTA: The Game as follows:

GACHIAKUTA: The Game is a real-time action RPG that fully recreates the world of the hit Japanese anime IP Gachiakuta in full 3D. Originally serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine and later adapted into an anime, the anime’s unique atmosphere and worldview have been reinterpreted through the game’s own stylish action.

Rudo, a boy surviving in the slums by scavenging through the trash, faces constant discrimination. One day, he is falsely accused of a crime he did not commit and cast down into the Pit, a place feared by all.

There, he encounters the cleaner Enjin and uncovers the truth behind the world.  Rudo awakens his power—the ability to draw out the soul of discarded objects and manifest their value as a weapon.  Rudo’s journey to change the world begins now.

IT’S CLOBBERIN’ TIME!

The Fantastic Four’s heaviest hitter brings his cosmic radiation-induced might to the fray, excelling as a grappling-focused powerhouse. With surprising mobility allowing him to bounce across environments to get the jump on enemies, this former ace pilot embraces his new role as a tanklike protector of family and allies alike, arriving as an incredible asset to any team.

Check out the trailer showcasing Cyclops and The Thing in MARVEL Cosmic Invasion below:

MARVEL Cosmic Invasion is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam. Final Weapon reviewed the game and gave it a 4/5, stating that it “continues Marvel Games’ effort to experiment with the beloved IP. The use of fan-service and both obscure and iconic characters in the narrative is so well done, the gameplay mechanics are extremely fun to play around with, and the art style is a treat to look at. While there are problems with the game’s difficulty spikes, limited replayability, short runtime, and lacking soundtrack, the strengths of the overall experience far outweigh its weaknesses.”
