My Hero Academia 10th Anniversary ‘You Say Run’ by Yuki Hayashi and Electric Callboy Begins Streaming September 22

Toho Co., Ltd. have announced that a special 10th anniversary edition of “You Say Run” from the My Hero Academia anime’s soundtrack will release on September 22 via major music streaming services. This new version of “You Say Run” was composed by My Hero Academia composer Yuki Hayashi and German electronicore band Electric Callboy. The song was previously performed live at the “My Hero Academia IN CONCERT” stage in London on September 20, 2026.

What’s more, a new illustration featuring Izuku “Deku” Midoriya performing the iconic “SMASH” was also released in homage to the original My Hero Academia Season 1 Original Soundtrack cover. 

“I truly hope the song crosses borders and genres, reaches as many hearts as possible, and resonates passionately with everyone,” said Hayashi in a press release. “And while the track is absolute perfection, the cover art is top-tier too! Plus Ultra!”

“We are beyond excited to have this opportunity to add our vocals to ‘You Say Run’,” 
said Electric Callboy’s Kevin Ratajczak. “The melody of ‘You Say Run’ is so powerful and uplifting—we just  absolutely love this song!” 

Electric Callboy’s Nico Sallach added, “Working on this track was pure fun, and it 
was a huge honor to collaborate on it. We can’t wait for everyone to hear it! We really  hope you’re as excited for it as we are.” 

While the series has ended, its legacy will continue with the “My Hero Academia Anime 10th Anniversary Exhibition ‘OUR HERO’” event in Tokyo and Osaka in 2027. My Hero Academia Anime 10th Anniversary Exhibition OUR HERO will include visuals, original drawings, 3D displays, videos, photo spots, and exclusive new merchandise for eventgoers in Japan.
