VZR Audio, an audio products company founded by former Apple lead acoustics engineer Vic Tiscareno, has announced and released the new VZR Model One MKII “D” Delta gaming headset. Serving as VZR’s newest flagship headset, the Model One MKII “D” Delta brings improvements based on the existing technology of the previous VZR Model One MKII.
The new Delta gaming headset brings all of the features of the Model One MKII, including a detachable audio cable and broadcast-quality boom mic, complete in its carrying case. The patented CrossWave technology provides natural spatial imaging, while the replaceable Hybrid earpads include the patent-pending Talisman, which is an acoustic device that enhances clarity and realism in sound.
The Delta headset’s improvements and new features came as a result of research, iterative engineering, and customer feedback following the release of the Model One MKII. There’s an improved sound profile with a newly refined acoustic model with more cohesive and natural sound. In addition, there’s natural, spatial audio with increased accuracy from any source while getting the lowest latency possible.
“We’re constantly planning for future products, and our research led us to find ways to improve the Model One MKII with existing technology,” said Vic Tiscareno in a press release. “We’re so confident in the Delta that we’ve made it our new flagship model going forward.”
The VZR Model One MKII “D” Delta is available today for $379.99 from Amazon and independent retailers around the world. The headset comes with a detachable mic, custom-made cable with 3.5mm TRRS combined headphone/mic plug, 6.3mm adapter that supports TRRS plugs, 3.5mm headphone/mic splitter, and carrying case.
