Spike Chunsoft has announced that Danganronpa 2×2 launches on January 14, 2027 for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. A new introduction trailer for Danganronpa 2×2 was also released at the September 9 Nintendo Direct.
Pre-orders for the Danganronpa 2×2 Psycho Tropical Vacation Package are available now in Spike Chunsoft Official Store US with an exclusive flight tag as an added bonus.
Danganronpa 2×2 Psycho Tropical Vacation Package contents include:

As previously announced, Danganronpa creator Kazutaka Kodaka is working on Danganronpa 2×2 alongside developers from Too Kyo Games, Spike Chunsoft, and Gemdrops. Kodaka is supervising the story and providing story and trick ideas. Character designer Rui Komatsuzaki and composer Masafumi Takada also return.
