Niantic has announced that the Monster Hunter Now Carnival 2026 event will take place in Osaka, Japan from November 14-15. Afterwards, the global version of the event will take place from November 28-29.
Tickets for the event in Osaka are now live via the game’s official website. During the Carnival, hunters can team up to take down monsters with exclusive layered equipment and special boosts. It will also mark the Monster Hunter Now debut of the elder dragon Amatsu. The global event will take place two weeks later, and will also require a ticket purchase.

The elder dragon Amatsu arrives! Experience a brand-new event format unlike anything before, featuring special mechanics during the hunt! Join forces with fellow hunters and take on the elder dragon Amatsu together!
Throughout the Event Area, popular riftborne monsters will appear in large numbers every 30 minutes! Team up with hunters from across Japan in group hunts to take down as many as you can! It’s the perfect opportunity to rapidly upgrade and carry out style customization on your equipment. Experience the unique excitement of a live event, with frequent hunt invitations from fellow hunters!
Complete event quests to earn tickets for forging event-exclusive weapons and armor. Special boosts during the event make it easy for hunters who are new to Monster Hunter Now or haven’t fully built up their equipment to enjoy all of the event content by using the event-exclusive equipment. What’s more, the materials required to upgrade this equipment will be reduced for a limited time during the event! Event-exclusive weapons will be available in all weapon types.
