Nintendo Switch 2 Reaches Over 23 Million Units Sold

Nintendo Switch reaches 156.59 million units sold.

Nintendo has revealed that the Nintendo Switch 2 has reached 23.68 million units sold as of June 30, a 3.82 million increase from March 31. In addition, the Nintendo Switch has reached 156.59 million units sold, a 0.67 million increase. 

Furthermore, overall software on Nintendo Switch 2 has sold 58.17 million units. The top 10 best-selling first-party games for Nintendo Switch 2 (full top 10 to be determined once more 1st party titles reach the one million mark) include:

  • Mario Kart World – 15.39 million
  • Donkey Kong Bananza – 4.78 million
  • Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition – 3.99 million
  • Pokémon Pokopia – 3.68 million
  • Kirby Air Riders – 1.90 million
  • Super Mario Party Jamboree – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition – 1.15 million

Recently, Nintendo revealed the lineup of games that will be playable on the Nintendo Switch 2 during Gamescom 2026. Some of the games include Nintendo Switch Sports Resort and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4

Nintendo Switch Sports Resort will release on October 2. It is available to wishlist now on Nintendo eShop. The eShop describes the game as follows:

Play 12 different sports using intuitive motion controls in Nintendo Switch Sports Resort, coming exclusively to Nintendo Switch 2 on October 22nd.

Create your Sportsmate or Mii character, and check out the facilities on Wuhu Island’s sporting resort. Use the Joy-Con 2 controllers as rackets, bows, paddles and more as you try your hand at:

    • Boxing: punch, guard, and counter-punch to outplay your opponent and earn the K.O.
    • Table Tennis: throw your opponent off-balance with some wicked shot selection.
    • Archery: aim for the target, adjust for the wind, and let your arrow fly.
    • Tennis: employ multiple shot types to take the Game, Set and Match!
    • Volleyball: bump, set and spike your way to victory!
    • Bowling: roll the ball straight or give it a spin to strike big.
    • Basketball: dribble and pass around your opponents before shooting for the basket.
    • Golf: swing your club as you drive down the fairway and sink impressive putts.
    • Thumb Wrestling: battle with one thumb to pin your opponent.
    • Skateboarding: use Joy-Con 2 mouse controls to ride through the course.
    • Power Cruising: grab the handlebars and coast along the waves.
    • Prop Plane: tilt the controller to fly around the island.

You can also warm up for the rest of the activities with a little skipping in Jump Rope!
