Minecraft Dungeons II Releases on September 29

Mojang has announced that Minecraft Dungeons II will release on September 29 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam and Windows. A new trailer has also released. 

The new trailer shows off the gameplay for the upcoming new entry, which is available now to pre-order for $29.99. Those who order it early can get two hero skins, a twisted cape, and a twisted chicken pet. The deluxe edition, which costs $49.99, includes the Soul cape, Blub pet, 4 hero skins, and DLC 1 & 2 upon release. Check out the latest trailer for Minecraft Dungeons II below:

Drop the pickaxe, grab a sword, and charge into a thrilling new adventure in Minecraft Dungeons II. Journey through unexplored lands and mysterious locations, in a quest to stop a new evil from causing chaos in not one, but two worlds! Clash with menacing foes in explosive encounters and fight your way through hordes of mobs that will do everything in their power to stop you!

Next year, the sequel to A Minecraft Movie will release in theaters on July 23, 2027. Jack Black and Jason Momoa will reprise their roles as Steve and Garett, respectively. Danielle Brooks, Matt Berry, and Jennifer Coolidge will also return. Additionally, Kirsten Dunst (Spider-Man, Civil War) will play Alex. A Minecraft Movie initially released in theaters on April 4, 2025. While critics rated the film a 47% on Rotten Tomatoes, casual audiences have been more positive about the movie.

Lastly, the first Minecraft Dungeons is available now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
