Electronic Arts has released a new deep dive video for EA SPORTS FC 27 to highlight The Grounds and Clubs, which offer a new shared virtual football world. Across multiple real-world inspired districts, up to 100 players can experience the shared football playground together in The Grounds in EA SPORTS FC 27.
Key updates for EA SPORTS FC 27 include:
- The Grounds: The most social way to play EA SPORTS FC 27, bringing up to 100 players together in a shared football playground.
- Football Mentors: Chloe Kelly, Paulo Dybala, Kylian Mbappe, and Alex Hunter return to guide players through The Grounds.
- Expanded Clubs Experience: Clubs Leagues and Playoffs return alongside brand-new Live Tournaments, giving Clubmates fresh 11v11 competitions with House Rules.
- Kickabouts: A variety of new football-meets-sports mini-games — including Bocce Ball, Team Keepaway, The Big Race, Attacking Scenarios, Bucket Ball, Balloon Ball, and Goal Control.
- Archetype & Progression Overhaul: All Archetypes are now unlocked by default, with more flexible customization, new Masteries for long-term Pro growth, and all-new Amps offering time-limited performance boosts.
- Club Objectives: New Milestones, Weeklies, Seasonals, and Elite Objectives give Clubmates more ways to progress together and earn unique rewards as a team.
- Live Services & In-World Events: The Grounds will continue to evolve throughout the year with new Campaigns, seasonal updates, and linked In-World Events.

EA SPORTS FC 27 launches September 25 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2, and pre-orders are now available. Ultimate Edition and Ultimate Plus Edition copies include seven days of early access beginning September 18.
EA Play members will be among the first to enter The Grounds in EA SPORTS FC 27 on September 18 with a 10-hour early access trial. EA Play Pro members get day 1 access to the EA Play Pro Edition, which features all the content and features of the Ultimate Edition. Certain content and features, including The Grounds mode (with Clubs), will only be available on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch 2 versions.
