SEGA has revealed its updated games lineup for Gamescom 2026, which takes place from August 26 to 30 at the Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany. Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, SONIC PICO PARK, and Metaphor ReFantazio for Nintendo Switch 2 were among the new additions to the lineup.
The updated SEGA Gamescom 2026 lineup includes:
- Alien: Isolation 2
- Crazy Taxi: World Tour
- STRANGER THAN HEAVEN
- Persona 4 Revival
- Total War: WARHAMMER 40,000
- Total War: WARHAMMER III – Lords of the End Times DLC
- Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds
- SONIC PICO PARK
- Metaphor: ReFantazio for Nintendo Switch 2
SEGA recently established its new SEGA Shanghai subsidiary with plans to strengthen its business in China with SEGA Shanghai promoting its IP and content, along with various marketing activities. The company also plans to better understand the Chinese market, strengthen partnerships, and build key functions for business in the region.
Previously, SEGA released its Q&A from the investors briefing for fiscal year ended March 2026, confirming that the company plans to 4 major games of “mainstay IP” in the second half of the fiscal year ending March 2027. These games will be available at or near full price. According to SEGA, these major games are releasing in the second half of fiscal year ending March 2027 due to the current development progress, attributed to longer development periods and increasing scale.
Flagship titles for SEGA in the current fiscal year include Stranger Than Heaven, the new multi-platform action game from Like a Dragon series developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, and Persona 4 Revival, the new remake of turn-based RPG Persona 4 from ATLUS. SEGA also plans to release four or more games that leverage mainstay IPs in the current fiscal year and continue a similar cadence of game releases in 2028 and 2029.
