Netmarble has released a new update for Tower of God: New World as it celebrates its 3rd anniversary. It includes the SSR+ Teammate [Red Lantern] Shilial and special events and rewards, with teases for more coming in the future.
[Red Lantern] Shilial is a Purple Element, Assassin, and Fisherman Teammate. A press release from Netmarble describes her as:
A future Shilial who is working behind the scenes to bring down the Lo Po Bia Family and Zahard. In battle, she uses skills to stealthily move behind enemies and inflict powerful bleeding damage. She can also increase her survivability by using hallucination-inducing smoke to conceal herself, while her ultimate skill allows her to continuously teleport to confuse enemies and deal powerful AoE damage.
Events celebrating the new Teammate will continue until August 5, with players able to claim rewards. Also until August 5, players will be able to challenge an NPC to a mini-game for Black Market Tickets. A friend invitation event will also take place.
Anniversary events will continue until August 19, with the following taking place:

- 3rd Anniversary Festival: Clear daily missions to obtain [3rd Anniversary] Nonstop SSR+ Tickets, Revolution Fragments, and more.
- 3rd Anniversary Nonstop SSR+ Summon: Select SSR+ Teammates you wish to obtain and have a higher chance to acquire them while powering up to maximum Limit Break. Up to 2,000 Nonstop SSR+ Tickets can be earned for SSR+ Teammates, including [The One Who Shone] Mago.
A Growth Exchange Event and a Revolution Reset Event will also be taking place, meaning returning players will be able to use the latest Teammates. A special 3rd Anniversary coupon code, “TOG3YEARS,” is also available. It must be entered before September 2 in order to earn 10 Black Market Tickets. Looking to the future, Tower of God: New World has teased a new Family Head-level Teammate who will release in August, as well as the reveal of hidden behind-the-scenes stories.
