The official X (formerly Twitter) account for Yasuki Tanaka’s Summer Time Rendering manga announced that the series is getting a live-action film adaptation in 2027. Ken Ninomiya will be directing the film.
The Summer Time Rendering anime premiered on April 2022 on the Tokyo MX and BS11 channels. Disney+ is streaming the anime worldwide, and Hulu streamed the series in the U.S. The anime covers the entire manga series, and the adaptation was directed by Ayumu Watanabe.
Tanaka launched the manga series on Shonen Jump+ in October 2017. A total of 13 compiled book volumes were released, and fans can read all of the chapters in English on MANGA Plus. Udon Entertainment also licensed the manga for print.

MAGES. released the anime’s first console game adaptation Summer Time Rendering: Another Horizon on January 26, 2023 for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in Japan. A limited edition of Summer Time Rendering: Another Horizon was sold for 11,880 yen featuring a special box, “Secret Book” guidebook, and an original soundtrack CD.
