Electronic Arts has announced that Kylian Mbappé is the cover star of EA SPORTS FC 27 Ultimate Edition, marking his return to the franchise cover in four years. Kylian Mbappé will also be the new cover athlete for EA SPORTS FC Mobile, and a gameplay trailer for EA SPORTS FC 27 will go live on July 23 at 9:00 a.m. PDT on YouTube.

Mbappé recently earned the Golden Boot at the 2026 edition of the FIFA World Cup, finished out the 2025/2026 season at Real Madrid as LALIGA EA SPORTS’ top scorer, and scored 15 goals in the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League to earn the competition’s Golden Boot.
