TVT, Ratata Arts and Game Source Entertainment have confirmed that the physical edition of Ratatan, the rhythm-based roguelike game from the creators of Patapon, will be fully available on the Nintendo Switch 2 game card and PlayStation 5 disc. This means that Ratatan won’t require additional game data downloads on Nintendo Switch 2 with the physical game card at launch, and the PlayStation 5 physical version will also include all the game data in one package.
Ratatan launches October 15 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The digital version will cost $34.99, while both the digital deluxe and physical versions will cost $39.99. The digital deluxe includes the main game, the Legendary Weapon “Spirit Sword Banbansord,” the Special Weapon & Accessory Set, the Cobun Set, and the Growth Material Set. If you pre-order the game you will get the aforementioned Spirit Sword Banbansord.
Ratatan was originally planned to release on July 16, but the developers determined that more time was needed in order to fix bugs and further polish the game, resulting in the game being delayed.
