The manga Yurayura Q (Yurayura Queen) by Gido Amagakura will receive an anime adaptation, as confirmed by the anime’s newly launched website. The manga began serialization in October 2019 and is set to end on July 27.
The website gives this synopsis of the series (translation by Crunchyroll):
Kyuko is the child of a divine fox and a human, adored by her eight older siblings. However, Kyuko worries about being ordinary compared to her beautiful and talented siblings, since she can’t use her transformation powers effectively.
Her childhood friend, Haru-chan, says he loves everything about her, which causes Kyuko’s heart to flutter and shake. It’s hard to love yourself just the way you are!
Humans, foxes, divine messengers and gods — everyone has their own troubles. That’s why fox girl Kyuko is always working hard for herself and everyone else!

Yurayura Q has been serialized in The Hana to Yume Fantasy magazine by Hakusensha, and currently has five volumes released.
Amagakure is known for creating both Sweetness & Lightning and A Galaxy Next Door. Sweetness & Lightning ran from March 2013 to August 2018, with an anime adaptation that released in 2016. Meanwhile, A Galaxy Next Door ran from April 2020 to May 2023 with an epilogue in July 2023. An anime adaptation premiered in April 2023, alongside a live-action version the same month. Both manga were published by Kodansha in Japan and Kodansha USA Publishing in the USA.
Amagakure’s latest manga, Tomoshibi Kara Sparkle (The Sparkle From the Lamp), began on April 7 this year and is being serialized in Kodansha’s Good! Afternoon.
